Dean of Students
The Dean of Students Office plays an important role in maintaining and enriching a sense of community at the European University of Lefke. The Dean of Students Office is concerned with the overall quality of life at EUL for all undergraduate and graduate students. The EUL prepares students for leadership in a global, diverse and changing society and also cultivates a caring and supportive campus environment. There are more than 23 social, cultural and athletic clubs that are registered and supported by the Dean of Students. These student clubs organize many social and educational events and activities for the university and local community.
Student Union is a structure that works closely with the Dean of Students, and it works on the basis of “students helping students”. Student Union enables students to contribute to the contemporary development of the university. Besides organizing educational and research activities, the Student Union ensures a democratic and liberal environment, where it is ensured that students’ voices and opinions are heard by the various departments of the university, including the higher standing authorities.
In the first weeks of May, when weather is at its’ best behavior in Cyprus, the European University of Lefke holds its annual Spring Festival, much awaited by students and the local population. Spring Festival usually consists of a week of colorful and joyful events arranged and run by the Dean of Students, Student Union, Student Clubs and International Office.
