COSTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Studying at ITU North Cyprus is subject to a fee. The annual tuition fee for English Preparatory classes and undergraduate programmes for the 2017-2018 academic year is 7.500 USD (VAT included) for international students. Apart from the tuition fee, students – whether they have scholarships or not – are required to pay 1000 TL to cover the cost of books for the English Preparatory School, fees for student general expenses and activities, and for the health stamp. Accommodation and transportation fees are not included in the tuition fees (Please contact us for further information). The payments for the specified annual tuition fee can be paid in two installments (50% for each term). If there should be an increase in the amount of the tuition to be paid, the increase will not be more than 10% for students already undergoing their studies. The completion of annual tuition payments should be done on the payment dates stated in the Academic Calendar and any late payments are subject to a penalty. The stated fees are not applicable for Summer School Programmes. Scholarships awarded to students are unrequited and continue for maximum 5 years including a-four-year normal education period and one year period in English Preparatory School as long as the student is successful. The scholarship will be suspended if the student’s CGPA is below 2.00. The student loses his/her scholarship and must pay the normal tuition fee until s/he gets a CGPA of 2.00.
The student scholarship, including compulsory preparatory classes, covers the following: Full scholarship covers the total tuition fee; 75% scholarship covers three-fourths of the total tuition fee; 50% scholarship covers half of the total tuition fee. The students awarded partial scholarships pay the rest of the tuition fee (excluding the optional preparatory classes).
