Higher Education in North Cyprus

The higher education in North Cyprus includes all the institutions after secondary education, that provide at least four years of career focused education after high school.Degrees earned can be at Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral level. The system consists of 5 private universities, and 1 state academy.

Admissions to Undergraduate Programs:

Each university has its own admission criteria. One should directly apply to the university concerned.

Language Requirements:

Students will be required to prove their proficiency in the language of instruction of the university they want to apply. For those who can not prove their
proficiency in the required language, a one-year intensive language program will be offered by the university they are admitted.
